I am so excited that there is someone else in the same boat as I am. I have a fiance that lives around the Upsala area. I wish that I had found out about the Swedes earlier too! I can honestly say without a doubt that Lina (that's her name by the way.) is the best thing that's ever happened to me. She's still got a year left of school over there and then she wants to come over here and go to school over here in America. I can't wait, I'm almost at the bursting point! It's tough being apart from each other but you know what they say, "Absence only makes the heart grow fonder." Aren't Swedes Awesome? I certainly have a high opinion of 'em (of course my view may be a little biased)
I have a question though. And your fiance might know a little more about this. But do you know about traditional Swedish weddings? If you have any info it would be cool if you emailed me with info. Of course it's always cool to get email from people you have things in common with. Either way a response would be apreciated greatly!
: Yes, it can work. It did for us. I met her on the net about 8 months ago and we spent Christmas together. This girl is the best thing that ever happened to me. She is moving to the US where we will be married in the spring. We are working on a Fiance Visa now. The biggest problem is time. It hurts being separated from the one you love, but it makes you stronger too. Comments and/or questions are welcome.
: ps: I wish I had found out about how great Swedish girls were a long time ago...
