I am only waiting for the paperwork to be processed but if they do reject it I belive that I will reaply or appeal and maybe we will get married. I know in america they generally grant them for 3 months and you have to get married. I think the only reason to not grant them (here in the USA) is if one of you is a criminal and the like. Don't worry (nothing you can do about it now anyway) If you care to write I would always like to talk to people in the same boat. I turned in my application in October and had my interview in January. And he just had his interview this past month. I think that the original time table of 2-3 months was sooooooo wrong. I would double that. Anyway.....Good luck!!!
: Should it get turned down what devices are left to us to convince the Swedish government how serious we are concerning each other. : Should we get married to make the appeal sturdier. On which grounds will they reject us. : There is no information concerning what our options are but after a year of a distance relationship we do not want to continue it this way at all. Now we do know that the Immigration board does not give reasons for its decision yet we have covered more than 16 000 kilometers in totality and spent x ammount of money, and frankly we are afraid that the decision will be turned down. : Can ANYONE please explain our options to us? And how can we convince the board to over turn their decision should they reject my application? : Regards
